I often find that just meeting the paranormal needs of a family or individual don’t stop at dealing with spirits. The paranormal experience can cause such post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that after the spirits are dealt with, spiritual counseling is required. The clients' names were changed to keep them private.
My team and I have been working with a family who had to deal with paranormal issues and now needs help to process and heal from the ordeal. This road can be long and has been for this family. The event that took place over the weekend was huge for the family and for me. What I am about to tell you is my experience of what took place.
The family asked if I could bring our colleague Melissa, who is a Reiki practitioner, by to perform Reiki on her family, particularly her son Tom. Linda’s son is a non-verbal autistic young man. Along with autism, Tom is extremely psychically gifted. His gift was discovered on my first visit to the home. Tom knew things about me and things about his home that he otherwise would not know.
Just to catch up with what Reiki is. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - "Rei" which means "God's Wisdom" or "the Higher Power" and "Ki" which is "life force energy." So, Reiki is actually: "spiritually-guided life force energy," according to the International Center for Reiki Thinking.
Melissa asked me to stay and help where I was needed. I helped her set up her table. Linda put relaxation music on. We invited Tom to first sit on the table and then lay down. He was understandably unsure of what was going to happen. Linda stated that she has never even sat on a physician’s table. Tom didn’t want to lay down so, Linda did. Melissa decided to start the Reiki session with Linda in hopes it would reassure Tom.
I was keeping Tom engaged while Melissa started her session with Linda. I didn’t have to do much. It was as if Tom knew something good was happening. Tom doesn’t communicate so I would communicate my thoughts to him instead. I was sending reassuring thoughts. When we made eye contact, I could tell he was understanding me. At one point, he went to his pantry and got a bag of chips. He brought them to me as a gesture of hospitality. In thought, I said “No, thank you.” I asked if he wanted some. It was amazing that he and I were communicating without saying a word.
Tom has this kind of chant. What was so incredible to me was his chant. It was on the same frequency and vibration as the relaxation music on the television. Tom was calm through the entire process. Tom decided to lay on the table with his mother. Melissa didn’t miss a beat. She continued the session and instead of just placing her hands on Linda, she did as well for Tom.
I started my meditation process. I asked God to protect all of us involved and to have His love shine down on this family and begin the healing process. I started my meditation process by counting back from 10. Once I got into my zone, I asked God again to assist in the healing. I began feeling the warmth of His light and it continued until there was a full embrace in the room. I asked if the Archangels could come and help. I am not sure if that is who showed, but someone did.
I wasn’t sure at first why the angels came. There were five angels in total. They stood in a triangle around Melissa and the table. The bottom of the triangle was made by one angel and the sides of the triangle were made by two on each side. The angel at the head of Linda where Melissa was working gave me the message that they were there because of Melissa’s requests. I was in awe how connected Melissa was and how wonderful her gift is. Melissa’s true intent was at work and her angels were helping her heal Linda, Tom, and the whole family. Even writing about it now and remembering what I witnessed makes me get emotional. I was in the company of greatness, and it filled my heart with joy.
Here is a small insert from angelnumbers.org regarding seeing the number "5". I translated it to seeing five angels:
"Number 5 means that major changes are coming to you. You should have faith and embrace these changes with all your heart and mind. The angels have prepared something exceptionally good for you and they want to tell you that with number 5. This number is related to guidance and encouragement that you will receive from you guardian angels."
The angels were creating this swirl around the table. It was very much like a tornado. The swirl was lifting the negative energy from Linda and forcing it toward the ceiling. Then I began seeing the figure of a man. I already knew Linda has a spirit guide named John. I asked this man what his name was and why he was here. He didn’t answer me. I asked him repeatedly and he still would not answer.
The man’s description was, he had short dark hair. He was in a tank-top shirt and blue jeans and black boots. At first, I thought he had a lot of scars on his chest and shoulders. When I was able to see him clearer, it wasn’t scars I saw, but tattoos. The tattoos where mostly red and green tones that kind of bled into each other. I was able to make out part of a tattoo. It was located on the back of the left upper arm. There was a design inside a circle. What happened next was amazing.
I could see Melissa with her hands over Linda’s chest and shoulders. The angels were all around them. The gray clouds were churning above the table, and I could see the man rising from Linda and then I was shown the outside of the duplex with the angels moving outside and carrying this man with them. I understood this man now to be a negative attachment and through the work of Melissa as a vessel and the angels being called upon to heal this family, removed this man and carried him onward. Once the angels transcended into the sky, they left a sweet fragrance of peonies. The peonies were left behind as a symbol that the angels were there. The peonies were the palest of pink, almost white.

I have never had a Reiki session myself or witnessed anyone having Reiki done. This experience was so impressive and the amount of positivity that was left in the wake of the session was overwhelming. I felt clearer. The home felt as if a revitalization of positive energy was running through it. Linda was changed and Tom seemed to have a peace around him.
This was my experience witnessing Reiki and how the healing touch directed by divine power can make such an impact on the person or persons receiving it and those that are allowed to be part of it. There is no doubt in my mind, body, or soul of what can be achieved with the power of positivity and love.
