Aura: A supposed emanation surrounding the body of a living creature, viewed by mystics, spiritualists, and some practitioners of complementary medicine as the essence of the individual, and allegedly discernible by people with special sensibilities.

Astral Body: A subtle body posited by many philosophers as the intermediate between the intelligent soul and the mental body. The concept ultimately derives from the philosophy of Plato: it is related to an astral plane, which consists of the planetary heavens of astrology.
Astral Projection: An interpretation of an out-of-body experience (OBE) that assumes the existence of an "astral body" separate from the physical body which we are capable of traveling in.

Channel: Ability to communicate messages directly from a different source than the psychic to a person or group of people. The channel is similar to using a telephone to another time/person/place.

Clairaudiency: The supposed faculty of perceiving, as if by hearing, what is inaudible. A clairaudient is someone who can hear spirits.
Claircognizance: The ability for a person to acquire psychic knowledge without knowing how or why he or she knew it. The user can gain information about a person, object, place, or event through intrinsic knowledge, as in it just "comes to" the user's mind.
Clairgustance: The ability to taste a substance without putting anything in one's mouth. It is claimed that those who possess this ability are able to perceive the essence of a substance from the spiritual or ethereal realms through taste.
Clairolfaction: The ability to receive psychic or paranormal information by means of smell.
Clairsentience: The ability to feel the present, past or future physical and emotional states of others, without the use of the normal five senses. Psychics who are clairsentient are able to retrieve information from houses, public buildings, and outside areas.
Clairvoyancy: The supposed faculty of perceiving things or events in the future or beyond normal sensory contact. A clairvoyant is someone who can see spirits, or images of spirits and use those means to form a line of communication.

Dowsing: A technique for searching for underground water, minerals, or anything invisible, by observing the motion of a pointer (traditionally a forked stick, now often paired bent wires) or the changes in direction of a pendulum, supposedly in response to unseen influences.
Dream Interpretation: Prophecy through dreams or an interpretation of what a dream is telling you about your life.
