Private Residence

Ansonia, CT - May 08, 2017

The client called us with reports that her 4-year-old son was being woken in the middle of the night by a ghost. She claimed that both her and her son see a shadow figure in the house and that it talks to them and makes horrible sounds through the baby monitor. She claimed that her son was afraid of the closet and of the hallway at the top of the stairs.

David and Melissa set out on a Monday afternoon to interview the family and to try and debunk the family’s paranormal claims.

Subjective Claims:

David

David:

No subjective claims of any kind.

Objective Findings:

Investigators: David Bray, Melissa Whited

Photos:

No photographic evidence was found.

Audio:

No audio evidence was found.

Video:

No video evidence was found.

Assessment:

Paranormal Level: Grade 0 - All subjective paranormal activity has been debunked and no evidence has been collected for documentation. There are no objective paranormal findings of any kind.

All the activity that was apparently happening was debunked. When we arrived, we discovered that the child’s bed faces the hallway at the top of the stairs and into the mother’s bedroom – directly at a large mirror. At night, the mirror reflects light from the streetlamps outside and causes shadows to appear around the hallway at odd angles. To any child, this phenomenon would be frightening. We believe the boy being afraid of the closet is merely just due to the boy’s imagination from watching his favorite cartoon – Scooby Doo.

We debunked the baby monitor by examining them and comparing them to our walkie-talkies. As it turns out, the Ansonia Police Department is right around the corner so when a police officer uses his car radio, it causes interference and results in an increased amplitude of noise through the baby monitors. Empathically, I did not feel that there was any paranormal activity whatsoever and that all subjective experiences could be logically accounted for.

Plan:

Case Closed

There is no case here. All paranormal activity has been debunked.

Beacon Falls, CT - August 11, 2016

The client contacted E.C.P.S. with concerns that his home had demonic entities that were terrorizing his family. The family had a history with paranormal activity as the client’s mother had reportedly been exorcised by Ed and Lorraine Warren back in the ‘70s. They would see shadow figures, doors would open on their own, inaudible voices would be heard around the house, and the entity was apparently causing a lot of frequent mood changes and negativity amongst family members.

Subjective Claims:

Chris & David

Chris:

Without visiting the home, he knew there was likely a body of water somewhere near the house, and that someone drowned.

He received a vision of dolls.

David:

No subjective claims of any kind.

Objective Findings:

Investigators: David Bray

No video evidence was found.

Assessment:

Paranormal Level: Grade 0 - All subjective paranormal activity has been debunked and no evidence has been collected for documentation. There are no objective paranormal findings of any kind.

When I arrived at the home, it was immediately apparent that this family was in distress. They seemed to disagree with each other about different claims in the home and their possible causes though. The young man who called us was eager to find answers, almost too much so. When we discussed a possible investigation, he wanted to be present, but didn’t want to sit behind the monitor and watch the cameras – he wanted to actively investigate with us. However, I told him that it was simply not possible and would disrupt our investigation. Many people seem to think that what we do is a game and it’s for thrills. That would be a red flag for us.

I did note the body of water, a river, running through the backyard and into the woods. I also discovered creepy dolls in the basement, both of which match Chris’ visions, although I obviously could not confirm that someone drowned there.

I was able to debunk a lot of the claims simply by understanding light reflection and refraction. I didn’t hear any voices or pick up on anything psychically during my time in the home or with the family, and my recorder didn’t pick up any EVPs either.

There wasn’t much to this case after the interview and we never performed an actual investigation, partly because the family claimed they couldn’t leave the house. Therefore, we’ll never know if there was truly any activity or not, but most of the claims were debunked or could be chalked up to logical explanations.

Plan:

Case Closed

There is no plan here unless the family decides to contact us again. The case is closed for now, and we wish them all the best.

Private Residence

Bethany, CT - April 22, 2019

The clients reached out to E.C.P.S. with concerns regarding paranormal activity in their home. There were claims of a lamp being thrown, radios and CD players being turned on/off by themselves, seeing shadows or other apparitions, and more. There were also reports of a "man" threatening the family and scaring the homeowners. The family was concerned and E.C.P.S. got out to the home immediately on a Monday evening to investigate..

Subjective Claims:

Chris & David

Chris:

He felt the "man" that was seen as a terrifying presence in the home was in fact, not meaning to frighten anyone. He is "slow" and does not understand certain social situations.

He picked up on the spirit of a little boy and the name "Adam" came to mind while investigating one of the bedrooms. He was standing in the corner.

A female spirit was making herself known to him throughout the course of the investigation.

He sensed an energetic imbalance with a friend of the family's who was present when we arrived - whom also tried to rid the home of any spiritual activity.

There was an imbalance between one of the occupants of the home and a significant other.

He sensed that someone was moving or was thinking about moving.

David:

The spirit of a little boy came to him while investigating one of the bedrooms. He believes that the boy is here for one of the occupants, possibly as a protector.

The name "Henry" came to him in the same bedroom as noted above. This was confirmed as the "caretaker" of the land.

He sensed an energetic imbalance with a friend of the family's who was present when we arrived - whom also tried to rid the home of any spiritual activity.

There was an imbalance between one of the occupants and a significant other.

He sensed someone indirectly conjured or invited a spirit in.

Objective Findings:

Investigators: David Bray, Chris O'Connor, Ruby L., Melissa Whited

Photos:

No photographic evidence was found.

Audio:

Several EVPs were captured during the investigation. They were relevant to the subjective claims from the group, as well as to the clients' claims.

Video:

No video evidence was captured, but our Sony camcorder did pick up some EVPs.

Assessment:

Paranormal Level: Grade 3 - Objective findings include evidence of a manifestation (non-orbs) captured by a photo or video. Audible sounds or voices can be heard by human ears and are documented on an audible device.

E.C.P.S. does not think that anything malevolent resides in the home. We ended up talking to the family's friend, the one with the imbalanced energy, and gave her some tips on how to ground herself. We believe she may have indirectly stirred up some activity, and either angered them, or invited other spirits in. The signs are clear that she is not meant to help this particular family, although her intentions were good.

There were also some personal things that we picked up on, on different family members and their dynamics, but the details are confidential. However, we believe that a lot of the activity can be explained through those dynamics and they may even be a direct cause of activity.

Throughout the night, the entire team heard audible voices - both a man and woman's voice. Our devices ended up capturing the voices for validation, which is why this case gets an automatic 'Grade 3' rating. There were a lot of spirits present, and one of them even scared Ruby with a guttural growl as she was grabbing her jacket. Regardless, they don't seem to be malevolent or evil in any way. Just like people, they have personalities. They can be mean, play tricks, move things, and can become upset at the family's choices and decisions.

The little boy, who confirmed his name was "Adam," seems to be around as well. We're unsure as to why he's here exactly, but he's serving as a protector for one of the occupants. We are sure she will figure out why in the coming months/within the year as long as she's open-minded to his signs and his presence. The "man" that the family sees seems to be a "slow" individual who is not entirely aware that he's scaring anyone. He stands in corners, watches, or joins the family during conversations. Overall, there doesn't seem to be any evil or negative spirits present in the home.

Plan:

Case Closed

A second investigation is not completely necessary as long as activity remains to a minimum. We were told that it did quiet down since our visit. If the family remains positive and each member of the household deals with their personal problems in a healthy manner, then activity should stay consistently low.

Private Residence

Branford, CT - September 12, 2020

The client reported that he believed something was attached to him. He would exhibit feelings of being watched and would be woken up in the middle of the night by someone "walking on the bed." He claimed that there was poltergeist activity in the home, i.e. doors would fly open and objects would rearrange or disappear. He also saw shadow figures and would experience bouts of anger.

Subjective Claims:

David & Chris:

Chris:

He viewed the client's aura as a murky gray.

He received a vision of the client picking up an attachment while hiking.

He believes the client's paranormal issues are related to something from his past.

David:

He sensed the presence of a female spirit.

He believed that the client's chakras were imbalanced and were throwing off his spiritual protections; he was susceptible to the "other side."

He received a message of a young woman reciting "the disrespect ..."

Objective Findings:

Investigators: David Bray, Chris O'Connor, Eli Freund

Photos:

No photographic evidence was found.

Audio:

A couple EVPs were noted along with some possibly intelligent Spirit Box responses, but they weren't that relevant to the case.

Video:

No video evidence was found.

Assessment:

Paranormal Level: Grade 2 – Objective findings include evidence of an EVP in direct relationship with a photo or video. The Spirit Box responds to direct questions with relevancy to the history of the residence and/or the occupants (including the paranormal team).

While driving out to meet the client and join my team for the investigation, I received a message that when I arrived, to hold his hands and I would get the answers.

When I met him, I was alarmed by his aura. Most people have some color in their aura, but this client had not. His aura was gray, and the gray was darker in shade near his mid-section. He definitely had some type of an attachment. I spoke with David and asked him what he thought and how his chakras looked. David confirmed that his chakras were out of balance and stagnant.

Gray in the aura can indicate blockages in certain body parts, especially if darker and muddier shades of gray are found close to a body part. Gray can also indicate that a person is going through a spiritual awakening, and their innate abilities, like intuition and creative imagination, are awakening.

I asked the client’s permission to hold his hands and he agreed. I sensed he was holding onto a lot of baggage that he needed to release. Part of this was the fear of what he was going through currently, but there were past experiences he needed to let go of. He is the only one that can release the negative energy. I suspect the negative energy of the past is what is causing the current paranormal issue.

So where did this attachment come from? While performing a meditation exercise with David, I received a vision of the client going on a hike. He didn’t go on the hike alone. He was there with someone, a friend, that was slowing him down. There were a fair number of trees and rocks. The hiking trail was not a difficult hike. Some up-hill areas, but mostly easy to navigate. I believe this is where he picked up his attachment.

I asked the client if he indeed had gone on a hike. He confirmed, and said he went with a heavy-set friend and that this friend was hiking slower than he was. This hike took place right around the time he began feeling “oppressed.” I paired the two events together as the probable cause and place where the attachment occurred.

How does he get rid of the attachment? First, the client needs to recognize “the baggage” I referred to. One method of releasing negative energy is with an Epsom salt bath. Put a few drops of lavender oil in the bath for good measure. Make the bath water as hot as you can stand it and soak in the bath until the water feels lukewarm. While soaking, visualize the negative energy leaving your body and going into the bath water. You should bathe like this at least twice a week. I discussed this process with the client and explained what he should do.

Along with the baths, the client needs to return to the hiking trail, preferably alone. He needs to physically state aloud that whomever or whatever has attached them/itself to him must leave. He needs to be firm and assertive in this exercise and believe it with 100% intent. Although I believe this only needs to be done once, he can go there as often as he needs to, until he feels that the attachment is no longer there.

I also recommend that he seek out spiritual counseling either with his clergy or a Reiki practitioner. Both can help with the healing process that needs to happen.

I usually don’t suggest people to move, but in this case he should. He seems to be a vessel for negative energy. The apartment complex holds a lot, and I mean a lot of negativity. He can remain for a short while but needs to continuously shed the negative energy if he stays. This can be achieved through the baths and self-reassurance that negative energy cannot and will not remain with him.

I believe the client can achieve all that is mentioned on his own and with the help of his clergy and a Reiki practitioner. My team is here for any questions or guidance if need be.

- Christopher O'Connor, M.A.

Private Residence

Brooklyn, CT - November 12, 2016 & February 02, 2017

The client reached out to us regarding possible paranormal activity in her home. She was afraid to be alone in the house and refused to go into the basement. She exhibited feelings of being watched, saw shadows, and heard whispers. She also discovered a secret, underground room in her backyard. We were called in to try and find answers as to who or what could be inhabiting her home.

Subjective Claims:

Chris & David

Chris:

He felt the presence of a teenage African American girl and an oppressive middle-aged male. The teenage girl was spotted on the third floor and the male was spotted on the main level by the stairs.

He believed the house was telling the story of two families in conflict. One family was highfalutin while the other was more practical even though they both shared the same social structure.

While investigating the basement, a young boy named Samuel came forward. He was an African American boy, aged nine or ten, who likely died from typhoid. Samuel’s sadness was felt by him and David to the point that tears were forming.

Children were playing under and near the staircase.

While investigating the attic, he received a vision of a woman being slowly lowered into swampy water. The name “Paula” was given.

In the attic, a vision of a woman hanging by the rafters appeared. It was a jilted woman by a man she loved, and was not accepted by his family.

While in the basement, he heard a baby crying.

During an energy session in the living room, he and David were able to form so much energy that they had an “energetic tug of war.”

David:

While in the basement, he heard a baby crying.

Also, while in the basement, he became very emotional to the point that tears were forming. He was sensing the spirit of a little boy who died alone and afraid. He was extremely sick when he died.

He was on the third floor setting up the IR Cameras when he heard someone call his name. He thought it was one of the team members, but it was not.

During an energy session in the attic with Chris, he felt the presence of two spirits; that of a woman and a little girl.

He and Chris were able to form so much energy during the session in the living room that they had an “energetic tug of war.”

In the attic, he received the name “Elizabeth” after he was told there was a woman hanging from the rafters.

He received a “G” name while doing an energy session in the attic.

Objective Findings:

Investigators: David Bray, Chris O'Connor, Melissa Whited

Photos:

No photographic evidence was found.

Audio:

Several EVPs were captured during both investigations. They were relevant to the history of the home and responded intelligently to direct questions.

Video:

While investigating a second floor bedroom, Melissa and Anna caught footage of the door opening on its own. We have not been able to debunk it.

Assessment:

Paranormal Level: Grade 2 - Objective findings include evidence of an EVP in direct relationship with a photo or video. The Spirit Box responds to direct questions with relevancy to the history of the residence and/or the occupants (including the paranormal team).

Our first visit to this private home in Brooklyn, CT was insightful. The history of the home and the surrounding areas proved to be rich and plentiful. Upon researching the property, we discovered that the home had connections with the Old Trinity Church, a notoriously haunted location here in Connecticut. Rumor has it that serial killer Michael Ross dumped one of his victims on the church property; it is mere speculation and is most likely not true. However, it is interesting to note that the swamp down the street is where he dumped one of his victims. This validates Chris’ vision of a woman being lowered into a swamp. The surrounding property and the house were formerly owned by two famous families: the Putnams and the Malbones, once again confirming Chris’ vision; this time of two families in conflict with one another. I received a “G” name while in the attic and Godfrey Malbone built the Old Trinity Church. We were also told that at one point in time, there was an underground tunnel that connected the church to the basement. However, the tunnel was closed up with stone and dirt so it is impossible to tell exactly where it was. We believe the tunnel was used for slaves who worked on the property. The history of the house is vast. There were many “workers” on the property and sick children as well. It is hard to identify whom exactly we were communicating with throughout the night.

In fact, the house proved to be so interesting that we went back for a second investigation. The first visit left us with more questions than answers. Unfortunately, noise contamination was more of an issue during the second visit so most of our EVPs and attained evidence was inaudible. But there are definitely spirits there. We could not debunk all the client’s subjective claims either. Therefore, we have to say that this is a ‘Grade 2’ rating due to the relevance of the evidence along with the validation of the team’s subjective claims. The spirits who inhabit the home and surrounding properties are not harmful or malevolent in any way. The clients have been educated on how to live with the spirits. The house has a long history after all. It’s bound to have a few.

Plan:

Case Closed

As for right now, this case is closed. Unless further problems arise or the activity changes, we have no plans of going back anytime soon.

Brooklyn, CT - November 14, 2020

E.C.P.S. was contacted by the client with concerns about paranormal activity surrounding her. She believed she possibly had an attachment which might have been connected to a doll she was gifted when she was a child. However, her and her aunt had recently binded and buried the doll in the middle of the woods.

We had to differentiate whether the activity was stemming from her, the home, or the doll - and therefore, had to hike a mile into the woods at night, find it, and bring it with us to the investigation.

Medium Report:

Chris O'Connor

We first met the client and her boyfriend on October 15, 2020. David and I arrived at the home just about 2 PM. Our primary reason to meet was to discuss the trouble the client was having; the investigation of the home was secondary.

The two clients are a young couple with two children. The husband was a bit skeptical at first, but after seeing what his wife was going through and the activity in their home, he is slowly changing his mind.

The wife displayed some anxiety at first, but became more relaxed as our conversation went on. Her primary issue was associated with a doll she’d received as a child. She felt the doll had something to do with her feeling of having an attachment. She practices Wicca, as do some of her family members, and collectively, they came up with a solution to get rid of the doll: they decided to take the doll away from the home and bury it.

Removing the doll helped, but she still felt uneasy. I perceived that she did have someone with her. In fact, both of them did. When I was speaking to them, an elderly man came forward. He didn’t say anything. I felt the elderly man was attached to the husband. We never spoke about this person, so I don’t have any more information.

Her father came through. He was an average-sized man with dark hair and facial hair. He made a comment about the husband, which made both of them feel good. Her father mentioned he is there to keep an eye out for his little girl. He also mentioned that he was not around a lot when she was younger, and that there was some tension between the family and him. He did want me to point out that he didn’t like a previous boyfriend, and he helped his daughter by getting rid of him.

Her father was the only person I saw attached to her. What was unusual was that both of them were emanating a purplish aura. He was more on the blue side and she was full-on purple. This aura means you are in a good spiritual place. You are connected spiritually with your surroundings and are experiencing an awakening. This is a good thing. Unfortunately, if you are unaware of what is going on, this may be more frightening than pleasurable. Again, when we returned for the investigation, both clients were displaying the same aura.

We returned to do the home investigation on November 14th. During this visit, we also went to where the doll was buried to exhume it and take it with us.

The doll was buried down a hiking path on the other side of town. During one stretch of the hike, I began to feel uneasy. The energy was oppressive. I felt this oppression on our way to the burial site and again on our way back, both times near the assistant living complex where there were trees lining the path. Later, I found out this area was where the family farm of Michael Ross, the serial killer, used to be.

We took a break after retrieving the doll and returned to the home around 8 PM. We explained our process to the clients, then set up our equipment and went "lights out."

The investigation started in the dining room, then moved to the upstairs and the basement. There wasn’t much paranormal activity, but more psychic activity. The client's dad was there, but quiet. There was the presence of a young girl and a middle-aged woman.

The middle-age woman was attached to the home. When she is making her presence known, the homeowner will see a shadow moving across the doorway. She is primarily there to watch over the family. They will hear movement around the house, but mostly upstairs.

We all sat down at the dining room table and started off with an EVP session. During this part of the investigation, I received a vision of a young girl, around 9 or 10 years old. She was extremely sad and longing to go home. I saw her near a body of water, and I understood that she had drowned. She wasn’t attached to the house, but to the area. She doesn’t understand why she was left behind, and all she wants is to go home and be with her family.

The investigation of the basement was mostly quiet. There were some knocks that were unfamiliar to the homeowner but could not be ruled out as furnace noise or general creaking of the house. The husband felt as if he was being watched when in the basement. I didn’t get a sense that anyone was there. His discomfort could be attributed to the eeriness of basements in general.

The upstairs was quiet. There was no activity.

The investigation ended back in the dining room. We brought the doll in and took her out of the bag. She had been wrapped, bound, and placed in a soda can box; this is a Wiccan ritual for objects suspected of harboring negative energy. When freeing the doll from the binding, we discovered she was soaking wet. I wondered why she was wet. The client explained that before binding her, they had “drowned” her.

I placed my hand on the doll and could feel the energy. I almost thought I was feeling a pulse. This is where the young girl comes in: she was the original owner of this doll, and her energy was still attached. The client received this doll as a young girl while staying in a shelter, but this doll had first belonged to the young girl who had drowned. I am certain of that. I am hoping through research I can find out more.

We were asked if the doll should stay. I told the client it was up to her, but I would recommend removing it from the house for the simple reason that she was uneasy about her actions regarding the doll and removing it, and because not knowing where the doll is made her feel better. David took the doll, and is going to care for it in a respectful manner.

I’m not sure what evidence will come out of the investigation. My part was to advise both clients on managing their “awakening” and how to coexist with any spirits in the home. I am interested to see whether removing the doll has changed the environment. I feel we can close the case, but let the clients know that we are available any time for questions or concerns. I encourage them to contact me if they feel they would like to pursue a better understanding of what this awakening period means.

Objective Findings:

Investigators: David Bray, Chris O'Connor, Eli Freund

Photos:

No photographic evidence was found.

Audio:

Some audible sounds were caught on recording, and one EVP was found.

Video:

No video evidence was found.

Assessment:

Paranormal Level: Grade 1 - Subjective paranormal activity cannot be debunked and at least one piece of evidence has been collected and documented, either by EVP or photo/video.

This case is definitely going to be remembered. We started out the night by hiking about a mile into the woods to locate and dig up the doll. It was underneath a bunch of rocks that were between several trees. I also had to fend off a few mice that were burrowed underneath. The doll was inside a black trash bag, and was bound with rope, and was soaking wet. They drowned, blessed, and bound the doll to keep it from causing harm to the client.

Once we had the doll in hand, we brought it back to the house with us for the investigation. It was quite amusing to be walking back to our cars with a trash bag and shovels in hand in the middle of the night.

Although we did pick up a lot of psychic findings during the case, we had trouble gaining objective evidence. The house itself is old and holds a lot of residual energy. There seem to be events replaying over and over. The surrounding neighborhood also holds a lot of history to it. When we used the doll during an audio session, we didn't garner many responses at all. We think the client is/was giving the doll more power than it actually had and was manifesting some of the activity she was experiencing.

Plan:

Case Closed

The client has been educated on our findings and we're going to continue to empower her on co-existing with the spirits in the home, and give her cleansing procedures for her aura. The doll has been taken to a safe location with us as she did not care to have it anymore, and wanted it gone.

The client called us with claims that her husband was experiencing paranormal activity, and that it was prevalent for the past 20 years.

According to the family, activity was present when they first moved into their home, but was minor and inconsistent. But recently, it had been growing in intensity and was starting to scare them. They could hear spirits having conversations, could feel a negative presence in the home, and at one point, the husband was screamed at maliciously. They also reported feelings of being watched and experienced electrical disturbances.

Empath Report - Case 1:

David Bray

When Ruby and I arrived at the home for the preliminary interview, the first thing I noted was that the land had a southern feel to it. I’m not sure what this means, or if it was simply an observation, but I feel it’s important to address anything that comes to mind, in case it proves to be relevant later.

When we walked up to the front door, the client greeted us, gave us a tour of the property, and let us walk-about. I noticed that they had a lot of pets and that renovations were being done in the home, but the client was very kind and more than accommodating. I perceived her energy as genuine, and that she wholeheartedly believed in what she was telling me. Her stories were consistent, she was open-minded and trusting, and her body language did not indicate anything that would lead me to believe we were being deceived.

During our conversations, I did a quick chakra reading on her. Her root chakra portrayed itself as a vibrant red color, indicative of a great sense of “survival” and groundedness. To me, this would mean that she is not quick to react to what most would perceive as a stressful situation. She thinks before she acts and decides accordingly. Moving up, her sacral chakra was a bit murky, but that would be common in someone that was having their house renovated as it throws our natural creativity off. Her solar plexus chakra was chaotic though. This chakra was hyperactive, spinning wildly, and gave me a sense of pensiveness. The client's emotions are very likely in inner turmoil – she’s constantly thinking, feeling, and worrying about things. Her heart and throat chakras were relatively healthy. I could not determine more meaning as quickly with these, but if these two chakras are balanced, then a person is more likely to have self-love, love and trust for others, and open communication and active listening skills. Her third eye chakra was actually pretty “open” too. Usually, this is rare and is only seen in deeply spiritual people and/or psychics. And finally, the crown chakra, for which I can only describe as small. To me, this made sense once I found out that she does not follow a particular religious or spiritual belief system. Our crown chakras are used to connect with higher powers, or higher energies.

The sense I immediately felt in the house was when I walked down the hallway and walked past the bathroom. I felt a sense of someone watching me. I later felt the same feeling when I walked into the fox room and did not particularly like the closet area for whatever reason. Ruby took pictures of the home while I did the baseline reading with the EMF meter, and we went on our way.

When we arrived for the investigation a couple weeks later, I felt like the energy in the house changed. The client had cleaned, moved some furniture, and put the animals away, but that wasn’t it. It felt heavier and just – different. In fact, this wasn’t surprising. In many cases, when we perform an in-person interview prior to an investigation, activity tends to increase almost as if the spirits are anticipating our arrival. This was the first case in awhile where Chris and I were able to go into a separate room and perform a team meditation, where we energetically and spiritually connect to each other, God, and the spirits of the house in order to bring them forward and get answers for the family. For some reason, it was necessary. During this, I felt like the answers were flowing through me, but I could not interpret them. Usually, and as our team dynamic goes, this is where Chris and I bounce “psychic findings” off each other and fill in the puzzle pieces. I feel the energy, and he’s able to interpret it. I also picked up on the spirit of a man and a woman but could not distinguish any physical features.

When we went “lights out,” we decided to start with an EVP session. Shortly after, Ruby began experiencing what was described as “being poked” on her lower legs and/or the feeling you get when a cat brushes up against you. Both her and Eli experienced feelings of uneasiness and anxiety during the session. Finally, I started experiencing the same sensation – like someone was aggressively poking me in my leg. We checked for any insects or anything at all that could cause that sensation but could not find a logical explanation. I also experienced a ton of back pain, and pain under my armpits – like something was squeezing my ribs. I know that during this session, Chris was seeing and having a conversation with the spirit of a larger-set woman, whom he described as a “bitch,” as she was actively mocking us. I started to tune into her energy. For a while, things were going smooth, but then this spirit’s energy dropped off. Suddenly, a darker energy was present. I can’t describe the exact emotion or feeling I had when this happened, but I’ve felt it before during other cases.

This was the point where Chris felt like he was being challenged to go under – that is, to go into a deep meditation. Psychically, this can be dangerous so him and I performed an exercise we like to call “the tether line.” He sat at the end of the hallway and I sat on the other end, and we ran an energetic rope through each other’s heart centers, connecting us. We’ve found it useful for garnering answers during potentially malevolent cases, as it can be used to pull the other out of a tricky situation or keep them safe from harm. Chris and I both called out words or phrases that popped into our heads and Eli wrote them down as they came in. Some of the words that I came across were wings, neighbors, and orange. I’m not entirely sure yet, but wings may refer to a physical attribute of the entity/spirit, neighbors ended up being repeated through the spirit box later that night, and the color orange may be referring to the client’s sacral chakra. Halfway through the session, I felt like the entity or spirit was in the fox room, so I asked Ruby to walk down the hall, into the room, take pictures of the closet, and then walk back while simultaneously snapping photos in front of her. As she approached the hallway, Chris yelled “Stop!” and began experiencing what seemed to me as being choked. He was coughing and taking deep gasps of air. Apparently, we were feeling the same thing, but since he was closer to the energy, he likely thought it wasn’t safe enough for Ruby to venture down there.

After the conclusion of our investigation, we felt uneasy. For every answer we got, it generated twice as many questions, which is frustrating. We want to help the client and get to the bottom of what’s going on, but if the spirits aren’t talking, or if there’s something more at play, it isn’t as simple as a one-time fix. Chris and I got a sense that Ruby and Eli were being targeted more than normal as well, so we made sure to keep an eye on them during the investigation.

To be honest, I’m not sure what’s going on in the home yet. I definitely felt a negative energy that is deceitful and manipulative, but the clients are not experiencing any physical harm or other symptoms of malevolent oppression. I don’t want to jump to conclusions, and I’m very hesitant to say anything is malevolent or demonic, especially since it’s so rare. The challenge is going to be with finding out why the spirits are there in the first place. They don’t seem to want to help us or give us any answers – they just keep giving us the runaround. But this is not our first experience with this type of case, and we are determined to help the family regardless, and that is what we plan to do. Until we find more answers, we have to say that we still don’t know exactly what is occurring spiritually in the home. It’s my turn to go into a deep meditation for our next visit and hopefully we can draw the spirits out and get the answers we’re looking for.

Medium Report - Case 1:

Chris O'Connor

This case has created more questions than answers. I believe that we haven’t even touched the tip of the iceberg. This case is complex and many aspects to the case have not been unveiled.

We arrived at the residence around 8:30 PM. We did the introductions. I excused myself and went outside to avoid any exposing of claims and to connect to the house.

While I was outside, I first asked God for protection and assistance in helping the family. I asked the powers to be from the four corners to guide me and show me those that are afflicting the family. I began connecting to the home and the property. This was when a heavy-set woman was shown to me.

The woman was dressed in white. It was hard to determine her age. Her hair was light in color. I was unsure if she had blonde hair or gray. She was not nice. She recognized that I could see her, and she laughed at me. I didn’t confront her at this time.

I walked all around the house to see if anyone else would show themselves, but the only one who kept showing up was the heavy woman.

I went back into the house. Shortly after, our meal arrived. We went “lights out” after finishing our meal.

I was sitting on the couch and the heavy-set woman showed herself. She is loud and rude. This woman can make the residents feel fatigued and depressed. I feel if agitated enough, she can create a situation where she can cause harm. She is mischievous. She moves items to cause arguments between the residents. She mocks the team. She yells to Ruby, “I’m going to shove that camera up your ass if you keep flashing it!” David was demanding that she show herself in the name of Jesus Christ. This woman mockingly repeats what David said, “In the name of Jesus Christ!”

This is what made me uneasy. I asked her why she was here. She emphatically stated, “I was sent here!” Of course, my next question was by whom. She just laughed, didn’t answer, and moved across the room.

This man then appeared and asked, “Can I come in?” I nodded yes. He stated he knew the family. The man was good looking, average build, and dressed nice. He didn’t say anything else the rest of the evening, but when he showed up, the heavy woman left.

The next thing I saw was weird. This shape appeared. It moved about kind of in a wave motion. It moved around the room, and in and out of the television and the cable system. It would move up the walls and eventually moved down the hallway.

I decided to move to the end of the hallway and go into a meditative state. In this state, I travel and try to see anything that I can to assist in removing whatever or whomever is afflicting the family. At first, I saw the heavy woman. I traveled further down, and the color purple was being shown to me and then the color green. When I was shown the color green, I began choking and eventually feeling ill. I kept seeing a winged being. At this point, I’m not sure what it was. I traveled farther and entered a place that was all gray and just the outline of buildings was in black. This winged being kept hiding. I kept asking it to show itself but the most I saw was its wings. I’m not sure where I was, but I felt it was unsafe.

As I mentioned above, this case is complex and has multiple facets that need to be uncovered. I believe that another investigation is needed and perhaps multiple cases. We must find out why this is happening. Once we do, then we can take the necessary steps to make this home safe.

Assessment:

Paranormal Level: Grade 2 – Objective findings include evidence of an EVP in direct relationship with a photo or video. The Spirit Box responds to direct questions with relevancy to the history of the residence and/or the occupants (including the paranormal team).

Our first investigation of the home provided us with more questions than answers. We were able to control most of the environment during the investigation, but we still found it hard to attain evidence. Subjectively, the case was very interesting as the entire team each had similar, yet different experiences.

This was the first case since last year (mainly due to COVID-19) that Chris and I were successfully able to "connect" to each other before we started. We opened ourselves to God and to the spirits of the house, and asked for them to provide us with answers for the family. We wholeheartedly believe it worked. What began as us picking up on the spirit of a large woman quickly turned more sinister as we started getting glimpses of possibly something worse - something inhuman.

The night proceeded with Chris allowing himself to go into a deep meditation, as he feels he was being challenged. Please read the above medium report to hear his side of the story in depth. We eventually began to use religious provocation to elicit some type of response, and we managed to gather EVPs in direct response to the name "Jesus Christ."

Plan:

Case Closed

This is definitely a continued case. We have to go back and find more answers as the family is still reporting activity. However, we have to be careful and figure out if we're dealing with a malevolent entity or not.

Empath Report - Case 2:

David Bray

After the first investigation, I knew it was my turn to go into a deep meditation on the next visit. I began preparing myself in the coming weeks. One of the messages that kept coming through during my meditations was of a man. He was an above average height, had dark eyes, and wore a trench coat. He also had short, black hair. I wasn’t entirely sure where he was coming from or why he was coming forward, but he popped up on more than one occasion. I thought that he might be one of the male spirits that are currently afflicting the homeowners. I did not get the vibe that he was the nicest spirit I’ve come across.

When we arrived, the homeowners had already gone to a hotel for the night and the pets were put away. This was extremely helpful as it limited the amount of contamination that was present on our recorders and cameras. It’s nearly impossible to be thorough when there’s extra people in/around the house. With this in mind, we decided to change it up and be more aggressive in our approach.

Knowing that I would be the one going into a deep meditation later, I also acted as the primary aggressor throughout the night. I spoke with conviction and demanded answers. At one point, I even began taunting the spirits of the home in an effort to gain evidence. Usually, challenging spirits is not the best tactic, but sometimes it is warranted and necessary. They have free will just as we do; they may choose to respond to someone taunting them just as we would.

We focused on the large, female spirit that is openly screaming at the homeowners and trying to intimidate the family. I could feel her anger and her oppressive nature. She openly mocked us throughout the night, sometimes in direct response to the name “Jesus Christ.” Although she was there, she would not give us a direct sign of her presence. It’s in my opinion that I don’t think she feels threatened at all – yet. However, we have a lot of experience with these types of cases and I don’t believe she knows our plan, or what we’re capable of as a team of faithful individuals. So, it makes sense that at this point, she would think we’re a joke.

When I sat down in the hallway to perform my deep meditation, I said my protective prayers and surrounded myself with a white light. When I finally dropped into a higher state of consciousness, I found myself on a dock surrounded by water. The man was at the end of the pier and was beckoning me to follow him. I did. When I got the edge, I saw a staircase in front of me that led down into the dark blue water below. It looked cold, but it was incredibly calm. I reassured myself and began descending the steps after him. Like a dream, I was able to breathe underwater and everything was crystal clear. The stairs continued for what seemed like eternity, and the environment was getting darker and darker. There was no marine life present. I started feeling anxious and cautious. Then I saw the man walk through a door. It closed behind him and I knew he wanted me to go after him. I knew that answers were behind that door, but something told me not to go. I listened to my guide and my intuition and turned around. Shortly after, I felt Chris tugging at our energetic tether line, pulling me out of my meditative state. If I remember correctly, I believe he asked me to count to ten, and I think I did. Suddenly, I was back in the hallway.

Unlike the first investigation, I feel that we didn’t have as many subjective experiences. The female spirit did not want to show too much of herself and I have no idea who this man in the trench coat is. Something is just not right here.

I’m still hesitant to call the case demonic by any means. There is no evidence or sign of oppression as it pertains to any religious affiliation, nor are there any physical manifestations or significant harm being done to the homeowners. Activity has also been present for quite awhile (albeit tamer in comparison). I believe we are at the stage where we’ve proven that there’s paranormal activity occurring, and now we need to differentiate between if this man and woman are malicious human spirits, or something else entirely. This will be discussed with the homeowners in more detail.

On the first investigation, Chris received a message of “You’ve seen me before.” We’ve been racking our brains about who it could be, or if this spirit is just trying to deceive us, but we have plans to test that theory going forward on our next visit.

Medium Report - Case 2:

Chris O'Connor

The energy for this case was much higher than the first. The heavy-set woman (spirit) who was present at the first investigation was there again. The man who knew the family didn’t come forward, but other spirits did.

The heavy-set woman was laughing more at us and mocking every statement we said. She stated that it wasn’t her that scared the dogs, but thought it was funny. She wouldn’t indicate to me who was scaring the dogs. She also stated that it wasn’t her walking around the house. There were others doing that. The heavy-set woman states that everyone knows when she makes herself known.

The investigation started in the living room and it did not disappoint me. There were new spirits that showed themselves this night. There were six or seven spirits that were near the sliding glass doors in the kitchen. They didn’t have any definitive features but showed themselves as dark figures with human-shaped outlines. They moved along the countertop towards the oven and disappeared through the wall. They showed themselves once and didn’t speak or make a sound.

The more disturbing visitor was this shadowy figure that first appeared by the closet near the front door. This figure lingered by the door as if it were watching us. This entity may give the homeowners the sense of being watched. This figure also didn’t stay by the closet. It moved over to behind the couch near the fireplace. Again, just staying there and watching.

There was one spirit that seemed curious enough to come forward. I asked him to take David or my energy so Ruby could take his picture. He didn’t want anything to do with that. After I said I wanted to take his picture, he vanished.

The clients joined us for a while. Our attempt was to have their energy present to draw out these spirits. I think it worked some. While in the fox room, we all could hear noises in the living room. David, Ruby, and Eli were downstairs in the basement at the time.

I’m not ready to call this a malevolent or demonic case. It is certainly shaping up to be something of some importance. The case requires another investigation at a minimum. I will check in on the clients to make sure everything is going fine.

Objective Findings:

Investigators: David Bray, Chris O'Connor, Ruby L., Eli Freund

Photos:

No photographic evidence was found.

Audio:

Malicious EVPs were found in direct response to the team's religious provocation and verbal challenges.

Video:

An odd, possible light anomaly was captured.

Assessment:

Paranormal Level: Grade 3 – Objective findings include evidence of a manifestation (non-orbs) captured by a photo or video. Audible sounds or voices can be heard by human ears and are documented on an audible device.

Upon our second visit, we realized that this case would in fact be a longer one. Although we didn't feel as many subjective experiences, we captured more evidence - in many cases, in direct response to the name "Jesus Christ." We're not ready to call it demonic, because the evidence doesn't necessarily point to that, but it's definitely serious. It got Chris and my attention after all.

We know a few things for a fact. One, there is a female spirit present who mocks the team, screams at the homeowners, and causes fatigue and depression. Two, there is a male spirit present, but we're unsure of his role or who he is specifically. He may not even be human. Three, no previous owners have died in the house and there has always been activity present - just not as serious. Four, things ramped up when renovations started and it's only targeting one family member in particular.

Plan:

Case Closed

Chris and I will be returning with a guest investigator/former client to explore the connection between a previous case of ours, and the Canterbury case. Depending on how the case goes that night, we may do a house cleansing.

Empath Report - Case 3:

David Bray

It was apparent when Chris and I walked back into the house for the third investigation, that the energy was different. It seemed calmer and less chaotic. I’m assuming that part of this was that the renovations were coming closer to an end with each and every visit, but spiritually, the house clearly experienced a shift in energy as well.

Chris and I knew we were limited to where we could go in the house as there were family members downstairs, and the fox was in the master bedroom for the night. We figured we would continue investigating the living room, kitchen, hallway, and back bedroom, and see what we could come up with. The night turned out to be shorter and quieter than we expected.

We began with the usual routine and connected with the house, spirits, and each other before starting an EVP session. Once we felt ready, we began asking questions targeting the heavy-set woman and the mysterious man we kept picking up on. However, the energy remained calm and our equipment was not recording any paranormal activity in the slightest. The K2 Meter provided no abnormal spikes, our audio recorder found no EVPs, and our Spirit Box barely indicated any intelligent responses at all. Psychically, I felt that I was picking up on residual energy, almost like an imprint, as opposed to the spirits themselves. We tried the same routine in the back bedroom but had the same outcome there.

A couple hours in, the clients contacted us to let us know they were out of work early and would be home soon, so we decided to call it a night. When they arrived, we talked with them about the investigation and discovered that they had reached out to a woman, whom I’m assuming is a psychic medium, through a friend. They talked on the phone and according to the clients, she was legitimate and knew of the troublesome spirits, including the heavy-set woman. She told the clients that she would essentially do her process, and that the spirits wouldn’t bother them any longer from that point forward.

Although I can’t speak to this woman or her abilities, it seemed to have worked – whether through her gift alone or the combination of her gift with reinforcement of the clients’ own empowerment, it worked. As a team, we are grateful that no matter the means, the family seems to have found a resolution. They were clearly much more confident in themselves and reinforced in their faith, and that makes all the difference. Intent is everything. We’re just glad that we were able to validate which spirits were present, and that paranormal activity was indeed occurring.

I don’t believe we will need to revisit the home for a fourth investigation if the clients stay positive and faithful. They know they have the power to overcome any paranormal activity that may present itself, and E.C.P.S. is always there should they need us.

Medium Report - Case 3:

Chris O'Connor

The clients were out, and the two boys were still home, but either in the basement or outside. All the animals were crated or put into one of the bedrooms. They had completed some more renovations and started on another, and they left the six crucifixes on the kitchen table.

Walking into the home, the atmosphere was much lighter than the two previous visits. The prior two investigations were oppressive and dark. The house was quiet. Our last visit, we did an extensive blessing of the house with holy water and prayers.  We believe that it helped along with the education aspect of our process.

I expected to see or feel the presence of the spirits that were there previously. During the investigation, we attempted to call them out. I feel the spirits were there but were behaving. I was finally able to ascertain a few names and will try to verify them through town records and the local historian.

Mostly, I felt an imprint of the spirits that were there. Anytime there is a strong presence of spirit activity, once cleared or “they” left on their own, will leave a fingerprint, if you will, of their existence.

The clients came home early. We discussed what we were experiencing, and they told us since our last visit, she had reached out to another psychic. This psychic confirmed the heavy-set woman that I had seen and a few other spirits in the home. I’m not exactly sure what the psychic did, but whatever it was, instilled confidence in the clients.

This is a great example of clients trusting the process. They did what we asked of them along with what the psychic asked of them. All the education and suggestions given were taken and applied. The bottom line is none of what we did, or what the psychic did would have worked if it weren’t for their willingness to follow and trust the process.

The two of them are also having dreams that are concerning them. I would like to find the time to sit with them and discuss these dreams and hopefully help, if any is needed.

I feel we can put this case to rest. I feel the home and the property have quieted down and the clients have the tools to manage any flare ups. If not, the Eastern Connecticut Paranormal Society is always here to assist.

Private Residence

Canterbury, CT - August 28, 2016

The clients called us regarding some paranormal activity they were experiencing after a night out together. They believed that they brought something home with them. However, the couple’s claims were hard to believe at first. The most significant claim was that they felt like they were being watched whenever they had intercourse or had an intimate moment with one another. They would hear a noise that they described as “fingers on glass,” almost as if someone was peeking in through the window. Items would rearrange and footsteps would be heard throughout the house as well.

Subjective Claims:

Chris & David

Chris:

He felt a sense of cautiousness going down into the lower level of the house.

He had visions of a middle-aged man dressed in overalls lurking around and peeking through the windows. He looked like he was from the 1940s.

He also had visions of a ten-year-old boy who played with the child in the house.

David:

While setting up base camp, a pan fell off the top of the refrigerator. The team was unable to debunk how it possibly could have fallen.

He felt cold spots while investigating the basement.

He experienced feelings of being watched.

Objective Findings:

Investigators: David Bray, Chris O'Connor, Melissa Whited

Photos:

No photographic evidence was found.

Audio:

Our Olympus Recorder was left in the basement for some time while the team was outside taking a break and several EVPs were captured. We received intelligent and direct responses to questions which aligned with the client’s subjective claims.

Video:

While investigating the basement, the team asked the spirit in the house to move something as validation. Our answer was given as the flashlight that was on the floor began to roll back and forth on its own. The team tried to debunk this scenario, to no avail.

Assessment:

Paranormal Level: Grade 3 - Objective findings include evidence of a manifestation (non-orbs) captured by a photo or video. Audible sounds or voices can be heard by human ears and are documented on an audible device.

As stated in the ‘Claims’ section, we originally thought that the client’s supposed paranormal activity was hard to believe. After all, it is our job to be skeptics first. However, we were proven wrong this time around. Although we did not see or catch evidence of a physical manifestation, the audio and video evidence was compelling enough to warrant this case a ‘Grade 3’ rating.

We believe that the property used to be farmlands back in the day, or possibly served as a plantation. The clients’ landlord lives next door so we were aware that he could be outside making noise at the time activity was occurring. This could have accounted for some of the noises the clients were hearing. However, Chris’ vision of a middle-aged man peeking in through the windows was seeming more and more accurate as the night went on.

We caught several EVPs which indicated a perverted man who liked to watch couples have sex. He was a mean spirit as well. He was mean in life and he was mean in death. He told us to “get out” and “leave” throughout the night via EVP and Spirit Box communication. While we were investigating the basement, the K2 Meter went ballistic. During our initial interview, it didn’t spike once, yet it was spiking past 20+ mG all night. We asked the spirit to show itself by moving something and to our surprise, the flashlight that was placed on the floor began to roll back and forth. We tried to debunk this activity by stomping on the floor around the flashlight to see if it would roll from the vibrations of people walking, but it didn’t. It was still all night until we asked the question. No matter what we did, we could not replicate the way the flashlight rolled. Therefore, we are classifying this as paranormal in nature.

We believe that the spirit that was bothering the couple was a part of the land and not the house itself. We demanded that he leave the couple alone and move on. He was not allowed to continue peeking at them or bothering them in any way, shape, or form.

We gathered a lot of evidence from this investigation. The overall evidence backed up our subjective claims and the claims of the clients. About six months later, we were told that activity had ceased. They have been given instructions and have been educated if activity should ever continue.

Plan:

Case Closed

This case was one of the best investigations we have ever done. We expected little, but received a lot. We are still in contact with the clients, but activity has stopped. If it should ever continue, we will be there to answer the call.

Private Residence

Canterbury, CT - May 09, 2019

The client called us claiming that there were multiple demons inhabiting her property and bothering her and her horses. She saw shadow figures, heard voices, and was scared to be in the house alone. The client’s husband is hardly at home and did not believe in any of the supposed activity.

Subjective Claims:

Chris & David:

Chris:

A young male that has passed was visiting the home. He would present in two different ages of his life. The age when he died, late teens or early twenties, and as a pre-teen or early teenager.

There was a self-manifested negative spirit afflicting both the homeowner and the animals of the farm.

The homeowner was extremely depressed and paranoid.

David:

No subjective claims of any kind.

Investigators: David Bray, Chris O'Connor, Ruby L., Melissa Whited

Photos:

No photographic evidence was found.

Audio:

Some Spirit Box responses were noted, but nothing that substantiated the case or could be proven further.

Video:

No video evidence was found.

Assessment:

Paranormal Level: Grade 1 – Subjective paranormal activity cannot be debunked and at least one piece of evidence has been collected and documented, either by EVP or photo/video.

This case was a sad situation for all involved. While we were performing the investigation, we did get some intelligent responses, but they were mainly from our Spirit Box. It seemed that the responses were also mimicking the investigators’ voices. At one point, Ruby and I heard a deep growl from the corner of the room after the Spirit Box replied “Corners,” when asked where the spirit was hiding out. However, we believe any negative spirits on the property are there because of the client’s guilt and current situation.

We found out that the client’s son had passed away tragically in a car accident 20 years prior to our visit and that her daughter also felt some guilt for his death. I won’t get into the details to protect the client’s privacy, but her husband was also not supportive of her grief. The house was in shambles and was very disorganized and dusty. Our conclusion is that the client is exhibiting severe major depressive disorder and has a lot of past psychological trauma – it seems she has not accepted her son’s death yet.

We had trouble convincing the client that most of the activity could be chalked up to logical reasoning, even though we did have some subjective experiences while in the house.

Plan:

Case Closed

Sadly, the client still reaches out to us on occasion, but there is not much more we can do. She refuses to accept that there aren’t demonic entities in her home and refuses to undergo psychiatric evaluation. We hope the best for her and pray that she receives the help she needs.

Private Residence

Cheshire, CT - February 14, 2019

The client contacted us claiming that her apartment was haunted. She would hear voices that she described as “radio chatter” and would see shadow figures, mainly in her bedroom. She would wake up frequently around 2-3 AM and would experience typical paranormal claims – feelings of being watched, objects disappearing or rearranging, and unexplained noises in the kitchen. The client also claimed to have some extrasensory abilities and a history of paranormal activity in previous locations.

Empath Report

David Bray

Before arriving to the client’s home, I picked up on two significant messages. The first message was some relevance to the number “9” and the second message was the name “Anthony” or “Tony.”

When I first walked up to the client’s apartment, I noticed her apartment number was “189.” According to numerological theory, 189 is equal to 9 through some addition until a single digit is reached (1 + 8 + 9 = 18 and 1 + 8 = 9). I noted this as an interesting coincidence and moved on with the case. However, I asked her about the significance of this number and she confirmed that she sees 9’s everywhere throughout her daily life. In many ways, spirits try to communicate through numbers to relay messages or other important information; it is up to us to be aware of those messages. The symbolism of the number 9 has a lot to do with higher callings and life paths. I didn’t understand it at the time, but that message would prove to be meaningful by the end of the night.

I asked the client if the name “Anthony” or “Tony” had any significance to her, but she could not think of anyone by that name. I marked it down as a possible spirit from who-knows-where or the fact that I was just plain wrong. However, the following morning, she texted me and let me know that she found out who Anthony was, and it did bear a resemblance to the case. I will touch more on this later.

Part of my gift as an empath is that I pick up information from people, places, and objects. If I’m in a location, holding an object, or close enough to someone, I can gauge a sense of the energy being given off. This energy tells me a lot, and often, it is information that is private in nature. The thing about energy is that it doesn’t lie. It can’t. So, I use this in my arsenal when interviewing clients.

It is odd for me to say this, but when I arrived at the client’s apartment, I began to see “visions” of her through the eyes of whatever spirit was there. I instantly knew that the spirit there was a male and so I began to classify him as “the pervert.” He likes to watch the client in her most private moments, including when she goes to sleep. He stands in the bedroom closet, the hallway, and the kitchen – and just watches. Now one of her claims is that she felt like someone was watching her, so these visions confirmed that to be true.

Another of her claims was that she hears voices, almost like a radio playing in the background, but that the conversations were inaudible. The conversations seemed to be between several people. When we started a Spirit Box session, a female spirit began to communicate with us. Originally, I did not receive anything about a female spirit until this moment and then I got the notion that she is related to or married to “the pervert.” At one point, I asked the spirits if they disapproved of the client’s behavior and I received two answers. The male’s response was inaudible, but the female’s response was very clear; “yes.” Then simultaneously, I heard two spirits bickering at each other and the Spirit Box picked up some interference. It seems to me that the voices she hears are most likely the two spirits having an argument because he likes to watch women around the apartment complex. I don’t think he’s getting away with that one, even in death.

Throughout the night, I also picked up on another male spirit, one that is synonymous with drugs. Just like “the pervert,” I believe this man to be hanging around the apartment complex. The client mentioned that most of the tenants in the complex do drugs and drink alcohol, so it seems a likely place for him to hang out. When I asked him to show me how he died, my heart began to race, and I got a cold sweat. It didn’t feel great, and my interpretation was that he overdosed. Since the client smokes a lot and has past issues with harder drugs, he feels he relates to that, and therefore appears to be with her when she’s using, in any capacity. The name “Hank” did pop into my mind, and it was confirmed through the Spirit Box, but I honestly cannot tell if Hank is “the pervert” or the spirit who overdosed.

Another interesting occurrence was that I felt there was an object in the home that did not belong to her and needed to be either removed or given back, but I could not locate it. It was confusing to me because the sense that it was there was so strong.

The following morning, when the client texted me, she told me that her best friend Nick had an uncle named Anthony who has since passed on. As it turns out, she has a pair of wooden flails in her car that belonged to him. I think the message here was separate than the case itself, but that she needed to return those to Nick or get rid of them completely. Objects hold energy unless they are cleansed thoroughly, and any type of energy interacting with another can cause some crazy phenomena to occur.

Overall, the case does not seem malevolent in nature. There were no indications or evidence that suggested as much, and I can say that with confidence.

When I read the client’s chakras, she seemed to be very imbalanced and carrying around a lot of people’s energies. Her throat and third eye chakras were very hyperactive. This tells me that she is talking too much and listening too little and that she is stubborn and finds it hard to take advice. She is also a Sagittarius (as am I) and as a fire sign, she can be quite fiery when provoked. She also seems to be more intuitive than most, but she needs to balance her third eye chakra if she wants to harness any potential abilities she may have. Likewise, her solar plexus and sacral chakras were very deficient which tells me that she struggles with relationships, trusting others, and is not expanding her creativity or truly nurturing her sexuality.

I believe the overall message of the night had to do with the number 9. Her spirit guides are trying to push her back onto a better life path. They don’t seem to think she is listening. She has had struggles with drugs and relationships in the past and seems to present herself as feeling stuck. Her guides want her to know that she is not stuck, but simply needs to find herself again. They want her to understand her potential, that she is intelligent and deserves to pursue and nurture that aspect of herself. I believe that if she stays true to this, cuts out the negativity in her life, and believes in herself again, then she could fulfill her life’s true purpose. The fact is that she needs to stimulate her intellect and if she’s not surrounding herself with positive people who will push her to be better, then these spirits will continue to “nag” her. Your spirit guides know best!

The client had big plans before some major life events changed circumstances for her, but she needs to know that it is never too late to change her situation if she truly wants to. I wholeheartedly have faith in her that she will find what she is looking for. If everything happens for a reason, then there is a reason that I was brought onto this case at this moment in time. I hope that my insight both scientifically and psychically have helped in some capacity or another. Keep pushing, never give up, and look inward for the answers you seek.

This was a very insightful case and brought a lot of intelligent responses via Spirit Box – much to my surprise. The client was receptive and open-minded to all our findings and our assessment. She will have no further problems with the spirits now that she knows who they are and how to deal with them.

The client contacted E.C.P.S. and claimed that her home was spirited and dates to the 1700s. The team was looking for a location to investigate to try and gather evidence for a library presentation in the town and found Diana.

No information was given to Chris or David prior to the investigation. Melissa and Sue performed the preliminary interview and received a ton of information on claims for both the house and the property, which also contains a lake, an outbuilding, and a man-made labyrinth in the woods.

Subjective Claims:

Chris & David

Chris:

Prior to the visit, he received visions of a working farm from the late 18th century through the early 20th century.

Visions of multiple woodworking tools.

Visions of soldiers coming home, walking through the property, and then through the rear door.

Visions of multiple children playing amongst the labyrinth.

David:

Received visions of a “group” or a “cult” gathering in one of the rooms of the home.

Received an image of children playing in the labyrinth.

Heard a child call his name while setting up cameras in the upstairs portion of the house.

This case was extremely fascinating to us. The home was absolutely gorgeous and the property was pristine. There was so much for us to explore that we brought in additional investigators. Unfortunately, they did not share their evidence with us after the investigation concluded (which they were supposed to).

During the case, we noted ties to a cult, or so we thought. As it turns out, the house was actually a meeting place for the Freemasons. Close, but not entirely accurate. We caught several EVPs and received intelligent Spirit Box responses, particularly in the man-made labyrinth in the woods. We also believe there may have been soldiers living there, or passing through at one point in time.

Although we brought in guest investigators, they actually did more harm than good. We were distracted more often than not and they contaminated much of our evidence. Lesson learned.

Plan:

Case Closed (for now)

We really want to return to this home and perform a second investigation. We feel that we will be better off with fewer investigators this time around. We feel that we can gather more information about the home and property. To be continued!

The client called E.C.P.S. with claims that her apartment had spirits in it, which activity was witnessed by multiple people. She thought there was a man visiting her, whom would appear at night, tug her hair, caress her skin, and leave scratches.

Subjective Claims:

Chris & David

Chris:

A male figure attached to the home would visit.

The resident's grandparents would visit and sit on the client's bed.

A spirit showing himself as a clergyman, but was in disguise.

David:

An older man appeared to him, but was being deceptive.

Assessment:

Paranormal Level: Grade 0 - All subjective paranormal activity has been debunked and no evidence has been collected for documentation. There are no objective paranormal findings of any kind.

Unfortunately, no evidence was obtained during our visit to the apartment. The apartment was small, cramped, and located in a semi-basement - a situation perfect for perceiving paranormal events.

We believe there are underlying causes for why the client was claiming paranormal activity. Once we received background information, it all clicked.

Plan:

Case Closed

As stated, there is no paranormal activity here. We believe there's more psychology at work than actual paranormal activity. If the client works through her demons (metaphorically), she will come out on top and can move forward.

We were contacted by the client via Facebook. She was growing concerned for her child as he was having trouble sleeping and waking up screaming in the middle of the night. She insisted that he was afraid of something. She saw shadows in the hallway and claimed that she was being scratched. She also felt she was being watched all the time and would wake up at 3:00 AM nearly every night. On top of this, she would hear footsteps and noises in the house even though nobody else was home.

Paranormal Level: Grade 0 - All subjective paranormal activity has been debunked and no evidence has been collected for documentation. There are no objective paranormal findings of any kind.

This was one of those cases where we really had to work to figure out the dynamics of the family and the home. There were things at the interview that we were not initially told, so on the night of the investigation, we had to piece together information to get the full story.

As it turns out, the child’s biological mother was apparently practicing witchcraft and was being treated for addiction in a psychiatric facility. Upon learning this information, we had the client write her name on a piece of paper and burn it. This was done while giving positive self-affirmation and expressing strongly that whoever was bothering her, had to leave.

For a couple of weeks post-investigation, activity had ceased. However, we were contacted a second time and told that it was still an ongoing situation. Since we did not get any activity other than some Spirit Box communication, we opted not to make the drive for a second visit, so we decided to contact another group that was much closer and could take over the case. The second group did stay in contact with us to let us know how things were going. As far as we know, some photos of orbs were captured and there were a couple EVPs captured as well, but upon listening to them, they were mostly inaudible and very faint. According to the client, the second group was successful in their approach.

Plan:

Case Closed

A couple of months after the second group’s visit, we were once again contacted by the client with claims that activity was still ongoing. We have officially passed the case over and are no longer working with the client.

The client contacted E.C.P.S. through email and social media claiming that her daughter was being attacked by an unseen entity. She sent us several pictures of her daughter's wounds including contusions, scratches, and abrasions. It was alarming being that the activity started on her daughter's 13th birthday, and the events were unfolding so quickly. It was unclear who, why, or what could be affecting and attacking the daughter with no prior actions indicating a source for the activity. Due to the extreme nature of the case, E.C.P.S. deemed the case urgent and set out that same week to investigate.

Our investigation of the cottage was a success in that we feel we did everything we could to validate the client's tenants' experiences. However, we just did not find any evidence of paranormal activity.

We were pretty hyped about the claims going in, but the reality is that claims are subjective. There were a couple things we were able to deduce right off the bat though. We could see how a person staying here alone would feel like they're being watched, or think they see an apparition. The way the lights reflected off various surfaces made weird shadows which also reflected off a bathroom mirror at the bottom of the stairs. We tried to drum up activity any way we could, but the spirits were just not willing to communicate with us that night.

It's important to note that it was also stifling hot that night, with high humidity. The COVID guidelines must also be followed, and masks and an uncomfortable environment do not help us psychics relax and "open up" our senses.

Plan:

Case Closed

Since we didn't find any evidence, we conclude that this case is closed and there is no reason to return.

Pooch Palace Resort

East Canaan, CT - October 30, 2020

The owner reached out to us with several claims. Eli gathered the preliminary information and Chris and I were kept in the dark before our visit. According to staff, activity began when a client passed away and the boarding facility took in her dog. They would feel like someone was watching them, items would move on their own, and their security cameras caught various ranges of activity including orbs in the kennel area.

Staff wanted whatever was afflicting them, gone.

Empath Report:

David Bray

When I meditated on the case prior to the investigation, I received feelings of sadness and confusion. I knew that there would be spirits present that were feeling these emotions, however, I did not know who or why.

Upon arrival, we met with one of the staff members who gave us the tour and left us to do what we needed to do. We started out with the usual routine and performed a baseline electromagnetic field (EMF) sweep, and a picture and video walkthrough of the property. We checked various doors and listened to the noises of the building to gain a better understanding of anything that might be misconstrued as paranormal. We also decided to place our IR camcorder in the kennel for the night to see if we could capture the same orbs that were claimed to be seen on the business’ security cameras.

When we were ready to begin, we went “lights out” and decided to start in the kennel. Within the first ten minutes, we started hearing a lot of creaking and other strange noises. Some of them were coming from the far end of the kennel by the exit door, and others seemed to be coming from above us. Eventually, however, we determined the noises to be stemming from and traveling through the heating vent in the ceiling. To be honest, during this initial part of the investigation, I was not getting much psychically, or rather, I was – but I couldn’t make sense of the information and how it was being portrayed to me. It seemed like I was trying to finish a puzzle with a bunch of random puzzle pieces that didn’t fit together. Shortly after, Eli made us aware that the boarding facility used to be a motel, and then it all made sense. As a psychic empath, transient or crowded places tend to overwhelm my senses and makes it difficult to pinpoint a specific spirit or event, hence my frustration with the jumbled “visions” I was getting. The only piece of information I could narrow down was the name “Dorothy” or something similar. In fact, I believe I wrote down that it could also be a possible nickname for Dorothy. Other than that, I knew there was also a man present, and that there was an odd sensation that I felt by kennel #12; I felt three specific sharp, shooting pains – in my left arm and abdomen, and my upper back.

Our K2 Meter (for measuring EMF) and our Spirit Box were silent the entire duration of the first session.

When we returned to the main office to take a break, we were chatting about our experiences in the kennel and it seemed like this was Chris’ case. He was still getting information on both the previous owner and the man that was present. We decided it was time for Eli to reveal the name of the female spirit that we were picking up on, and the name turned out to be “Dotty,” a nickname for Dorothy. Chris then revealed his notepad, to which he wrote down “Dot.” It seems we both got the same name, albeit in different contexts. Dotty was the previous owner of the boarding facility, I believe.

I did not receive too much information on the man that was present, other than that he was simply there, but I couldn’t shake the sharp, shooting pains that I felt in the kennel. To me, it was indicative of someone being stabbed or murdered in some way. I’m not sure if where I was standing was where one of the former motel rooms were or not, or if an event or crime transpired in said room, but it was a powerful message nonetheless and I’d be interested in researching any possible reason I might have felt those sensations over there.

Most of the night went much the same for me. I received a lot of jumbled messages and things that just didn’t seem to make sense. For example, I felt there was a Native American presence on the property, possibly a battle of some kind, but I hate to read too much into things like that because nearly everywhere in New England has historical relevance to Native American tribes, and it’s too vague to be useful.

During the final stretch of the investigation, we decided to return to the kennel. We knew from Eli that a woman had recently passed away and left her dog with the owner of the boarding facility, and that she may be present in spirit as well. I tried all night to get her name, but it simply would not come to me. That is, until the end.

With one last effort, I told the spirits that I did not want to receive any information other than what this woman wanted to communicate, and I put my full intent into hearing her messages. Sure enough, it worked. I began asking her questions and for her to give us a sign, and for the first time all night, our K2 Meter spiked, indicating an intelligent response. Chris began receiving her messages as well and I finally stated that her name is “Pat” and that she is in fact, visiting the boarding facility. Eli confirmed her name, and with more questions, we received a few more intelligent responses.

As it turns out, the sadness and confusion that I felt prior to the investigation were the emotions felt by Pat. She doesn’t understand why her presence in the facility is receiving a negative response from the staff.

Overall, this investigation was more of a psychic one. Between Chris and I, I think we pieced the story together well, at least in respect to Dotty and Pat. We are confident that the messages we received answer many of the questions and concerns of the staff, and that we understand the spiritual activity of the facility. Of course, there are some questions, but in this business, it’s rare to get all the answers. However, I do hope that the owners and staff at the facility feel better reading this report and they can rest knowing that there are no malevolent or malicious spirits present.

Medium Report:

Chris O'Connor

This was a very confusing case for me. Weeks prior to being contacted by the owner, I had a premonition of the team heading toward the northwest corner of Connecticut. Three days prior to actually getting the case, I had a vision, which I would describe as bloody and criminal. At this point, I wasn’t sure where my visions were going to take me. When I asked our team’s researcher if there was a reason, I was getting this vision, he had no knowledge of anything similar that might be connected to the kennel.

However, let me state what I felt and saw. As always, I walked away with more questions than answers and I hope the owner can shed some light on the matter.

To this day, I can’t shake the vision of the criminal bloody scene. I can’t dismiss it or validate it. It is frustrating because as the night played out during our visit, this is the one vision in particular that did not get answered.

I had a strong vision of a fire. I’m not sure if the building had a fire or if there was a fire in the area, but I don’t remember hearing of any on the news in recent years. Maybe the fire was before my time. Some additional research may be needed to answer that question.

I had visions of falling rocks or a collapsed stone wall near water. This was an ominous vision. I am not sure if the bloody vision has any correlation with this one, or if they’re connected in any way. Again, more research and an extensive history needs to be done.

I also had visions of three people throughout the night; two were women and one was a man.

The man was big, probably over six feet and muscular. He died older but made the choice to show himself to me as a man in his mid- to late-30s. His hair was cut short, like a flat top – he had a strong jaw line and a very distinctive presence. He wore a “working man’s” clothes. He was definitely not a suit and tie kind of guy.

The visions of the two women were more confusing. At first, I felt that both were connected to the kennel. As the night went on (and on the ride home), I realized that one of the women may not have a direct connection at all.

One of the women I felt was directly connected to the kennel. She comes to the kennel to check in on her dog. When she is around, the owner and staff will have a sense of being watched. They will look for an object and won’t find it where it was left. She makes her presence known by shadows caught in the peripheral. This woman will and does reach out to touch the owner. The owner may feel something like a spider web where there is none. This woman died from a long fight with an illness, probably cancer. I got the feeling her death had something to do with female anatomy. The message I received from her was, “Don’t worry about me, I’m just checking in.”

The woman that may not be connected to the kennel is the woman that gave me a lot of confusion. She presented herself initially as the previous owner or staff member. I would describe her from the ‘70s, maybe early ‘80s. She was dressed in ‘70’s attire. She carried a dog around with her. I’m not up on my dog breeds, but I can best describe the dog as small with a brown face, with blacked fur on the tips of its ears. The dog’s fur was long, brown, and black. This woman did not show herself with a husband, so my guess is that she was single. Each time she showed herself was in the front desk area. Each time she came into the front area, I heard a bell. The bell sounded like a bell that would be attached to an entry door to notify that someone had entered. This vision made me feel that she owned or worked here in the ‘70s or ‘80s. At this point, David and I had concluded the kennel was a motel in a previous life. So, did this woman belong to the kennel, motel, or somewhere else?

When this woman presents herself, she stands in the doorway between the front office and the room behind it. The staff will feel like they’re being watched. They may smell cigarette smoke as well as my vision showed that she smoked. They will hear someone clear their throat when there is no one there. The staff will also hear footsteps, like someone walking in slippers.

My team told me the goal of our investigation was to remove the spirits that resided at the kennel. However, I would like to redirect the goal to co-existence. The spirits I came across are completely benign. Their attachment to the kennel is purely natural. What we can and will do is educate the owner and the staff to appreciate those who come to visit. The owner just needs to set the rules of the building - her building, her rules.

I mentioned earlier that this case was confusing for me. There are many questions and very little answers. Even if the questions aren’t answered, the kennel was an interesting investigation, nonetheless. I feel the owner and staff are not in any danger at all. If they have the belief that spirits visit, they should embrace them. If they are frightened of them, set the rules and boundaries.

Objective Findings:

Investigators: David Bray, Chris O'Connor, Eli Freund, Lindsay Cocco

Photos:

No photographic evidence was found.

Audio:

An EVP was noted, but absolutely no Spirit Box activity was found.

Video:

No video evidence was found.

Assessment:

Paranormal Level: Grade 1 - Subjective paranormal activity cannot be debunked and at least one piece of evidence has been collected and documented, either by EVP or photo/video.

Our investigation of the Pooch Palace Resort (love the name, by the way) was successful in that we were able to debunk some of the activity and determine which spirits were causing the claims, but we still don't feel like the case was completed. What I mean is, there are still so many questions that don't have answers, and it's a frustrating feeling.

We'll need to do more research if we want to further uncover some of the mysteries of the land and property, but for now we have to settle with what we were able to find out.

Plan:

Case Closed

The case is considered closed for now. We really don't think there are any malicious or malevolent spirits present, and the staff should have nothing to worry about. We will educate them on co-existing with the spirits and how to lay ground rules with them.

Enfield, CT - June 07-August 16, 2018

We received a message from a woman who claimed that her son was possessed by a demon. She insisted that he was a Christian man who had done all the right things, was married, and had a good job. She claimed that his affliction came out of nowhere.

He was currently separated from his wife, he lost his job, and he refused to return home: he was staying at a motel and would often pace around in the parking lot. He apparently tried many priests and other clergymen from other religions, to no success.

Subjective Claims:

Chris:

There were no physical attachments, but self-manifested negative energy.

He feels that the client has some sort of psychic ability, which based on his religious beliefs, he did not want to accept or view them as a positive attribute.

This was a sad case for us. We wanted to help so badly - frankly, we were desperate for an easy solution.

We met the client at a motel and witnessed him pacing around the parking lot. We were able to get his father to convince him to come inside the room, but first we had to bless it, so we obliged. Once inside, we set up our equipment and sat him on the bed to ask him some questions, standard procedure. However, 5 minutes after beginning the questioning, he tried to turn it around on us. He claimed that we weren't there to help since two of us were Catholic, and according to him, we weren't close to Jesus. Since he refused to cooperate, we ended the investigation and refused to help further. If he didn't want our assistance, then we weren't going to bother.

Long story short, we met up with him a few more times and were in talks with family members about his condition. He felt bad about how he treated us the last time and we were able to move forward. We had an exorcist on the phone that we use for blessings, clearances, and other spiritual endeavors, and he helped to clear away any negative energy that was afflicting the client.

Throughout our time with him, we drew the conclusion that he was suffering from a mental illness, as evident by many things including his mannerisms. He was doing better after our time with him, but then relapsed and ended up back in rehabilitation. Unfortunately, the kind of help he needs is psychiatric and physical in nature, and he could benefit from continued spiritual counseling.

Plan:

If the client continues with spiritual counseling and undergoes psychiatric treatment, we are positive that he will be okay. Sadly, these situations are tough on all parties involved. We are continuing to pray for him and his family to make a full recovery.

The case started out interesting, but as soon as we arrived, we knew we were in for it. The clients were so eager to tell their stories that they kept us talking and occupied for an hour, time we could've used to set up and investigate. Their children were running around making noise, running by and hitting us, and not listening. Prior to our investigation, we agreed no children should be in the house, but they sent the kids next door (duplex) when we started. Therefore, we couldn't do what we wanted because the kids were still present under the same roof.

It's important to note that we are very non-judgmental people, but the house was so cluttered, we could barely find room to sit comfortably. The house also had such an odor that we had to take frequent breaks outside just to get some air. I wish we could have investigated more (or better), but we simply weren't aware of the circumstances surrounding the home.

Plan:

Case Closed

We have no plans to return the home. We did not sense any paranormal activity whatsoever, and we didn't capture any objective evidence.

Enfield Demon House

Enfield, CT - October 31, 2015

On a side street in Enfield, CT sits a duplex which has notoriously become known as "The Demon House.” The home was built in 1771 and is considered to be the oldest home in Enfield, CT. Much of the house is still vacant and is under renovation.

The current owners have been plagued by a demonic presence ever since they bought the home in 2006. After tons of research, Jay found out that his home has a very morbid history of 25+ deaths, ranging from homicides, suicides, freak accidents, and random bouts of illnesses. The family went through a vast number of paranormal investigators, priests, shamans, and even a bishop to try and rid their home of the demonic entity, but failed at every turn.

The activity reported in the house is as real as it gets. The demonic entity has been known to physically harm people, even pushing Elke (who was pregnant at the time) down the stairs. After mocking the demon, a friend of the family was reported to have been in a serious car accident, causing him to be paralyzed for the rest of his life. He will no longer go near the house. Stories of blood appearing all over the walls and ceiling of an upstairs bedroom, priests refusing to enter the attic, and things that seem to come straight out of a horror movie go hand in hand with this house. The various negative experiences associated with the "Demon House" make you wonder if the demonic presence has inhabited this home all along.

The house was featured on several TV shows including Animal Planet's "The Haunting" and SyFy's "The Haunted Collector.”

Subjective Claims:

Chris & David

Chris:

Before the investigation, he wrote down the name “John.” As we arrived at the house, we were told that a man named John lived next door, was shot in the chest, and died.

While sitting on the staircase, he drew a five-pointed star with a circle around it. Someone was using this symbol as a means of conjuring.

He drew the word “head” during a meditation session. Several previous occupants have died from traumatic brain injuries, self-inflicted gunshot wounds, or aneurysms.

He was inspecting a door at the bottom of the renter’s side staircase and it seemed to be blocked as he could not open it. As he budged it open, he heard a growl and the door slammed shut on him. Needless to say, he hauled ass up the stairs and we have never seen Chris move so fast.

He received a vision of a small male child being killed. It is believed that one of the previous occupants of the home killed their baby boy and burned the body.

A picture of fire was drawn while he was standing in the kitchen along with the smell of gas or propane. He also felt extreme heat. There has been a house fire in the home in which previous occupants were killed.

He felt the energy in the home was very clouded. The house was confused and out of place due to its history.

The name’s “Bob” and “Allyn” were written down. These names were verified later through the homeowners.

The name’s “Sarah” and “Samantha” were also written down. We received validation on Sarah, but cannot find where Samantha came from.

A vision of doves flying around. This is most likely in reference to the house finally being at peace from the demonic entity that once inhabited it.

Malachi appeared to him while he was in the basement. Malachi heeded him to avoid the dark crawlspace area. He listened, turned around, and walked away.

He believes the number “4” is significant to the house.

David:

He felt strong, intense feelings of being watched, particularly in the basement.

He felt sudden shifts in temperature to the point where he was sweating and then shivering a minute later.

All throughout the house, shadow people were seen out of his peripherals.

Upon meditating, his energy kept being taken away as quickly as it was generated.

When in the house too long, he would get “psychic headaches.”

In the basement, he could feel a sense of dread. Several times throughout both investigations, as he was walking around, he would get an intuitive feeling telling him not to enter certain areas of the home.

Objective Findings:

Investigators: David Bray, Chris O'Connor

Photos:

No photographic evidence was found.

Audio:

EVPs and whispers were captured on our audio devices. The Spirit Box also responded intelligently to the history of the home, its occupants, and the investigators present. In one EVP, the team is told by a malevolent spirit to “do it!”

Video:

No video evidence was found.

Assessment:

Paranormal Level: Grade 2 – Objective findings include evidence of an EVP in direct relationship with a photo or video. The Spirit Box responds to direct questions with relevancy to the history of the residence and/or the occupants (including the paranormal team).

In October, 2015, the family decided to allow people to come into their home to hear their story. The demonic entity that was so prevalent for eight years had been exorcised and they believed it was finally safe to let people enter the home. The “Meet and Greet” is where I met the family.

At the “Meet and Greet,” the family told their story. I was one of the investigators who were picked to come back on Halloween night and be a part of the first investigation since the demonic entity had been banished. The goal was to see if there were any malevolent or evil spirits left in the home.

On Halloween night, the investigation was performed. This is where I originally met Chris and Emily. Throughout the night, we discovered that we worked well together and as history would have it, E.C.P.S. was formed a couple months later.

The residual energy in the home is on another level. It is like being in a fun house full of mirrors. Upon walking from one room to another, you could feel a complete energy shift. In nearly every area of the house, there has been a death; whether by homicide, suicide, accident, or sudden illness. So this isn’t completely shocking. The imprint that the demonic entity left on the home can still be felt by those who are able to sense it. Mediums, energy workers, and empaths should pick up on it instantly.

As far as intelligent spirits, the house still has some. The blessing and exorcism that was performed on the house supposedly does not allow any evil spirits to remain there. It is important to note however, that malevolent or mean spirits might not apply to those rules.

During our visit, we continually came into contact with one of the nastier human spirits in the home. We also came into communication with other human spirits who were known to have lived in the house at one point in time. They responded intelligently to our questions and answered questions about their deaths accurately. It’s our conclusion then, that the house still has active paranormal activity. However, it is limited to residual and intelligent spirits. We did not find or feel any trace of the demonic entity that tormented the family and their home.

The Enfield Demon House received a ‘Grade 2’ rating. If the demonic entity were still present, it would clearly and easily be a ‘Grade 5,’ but all thanks to God, it is not. The family can finally move on with their lives and are safe from any harm.

Sometime after the Halloween investigation, Jay contacted me and asked me personally to help him organize and uncover the remaining history of the home and put together the remaining pieces. Jay wanted to get the word out and share their story with others so they understand there are consequences for messing with the supernatural or the unknown. Amateur investigators should not go thrill seeking as it is extremely dangerous. The countless number of teams who tried to help the family learned this the hard way as the entity affected them and attacked them in ways you only see in horror movies.

Plan:

Case Closed

Currently, there are no ongoings with the family and their home. The family needs some time to recover financially and get their personal affairs in order. When Jay is ready, he will reach out to the team to see if the final pieces of the puzzle can be put in place.

E.C.P.S. is opting out of performing continued investigations at the request of the Reverend who cleansed the home. We are told it is not a good idea as it could stir up activity again. We will respect his wishes and will not investigate unless the family truly needs us to.

Update:
Apparently, activity increased again for awhile and another team was assisting them. However, after speaking with the homeowner, the latest is that things are calmer once they stopped allowing people to come in and investigate. Come to find out, teams were using them for notoriety and fame.
